Project Steps
Find a spot outdoors and cover nearby items with a drop cloth or old sheets to protect them from spray mist.
Lightly sand the frame and wipe clean with a tack cloth.
If the frame has not been painted before or if it is currently a dark color, you'll probably want to prime it. Follow the directions on the paint can and allow to dry completely.
Spray frame with Pretty Pink paint following directions on the can and allow to dry completely.
Trace or draw a pattern onto the contact paper and cut it out with an X-acto knife. Remember that the clear part of the mirror will be covered with contact paper.*
Place your pattern onto the mirror making sure the edges are sealed.
Following directions on the can, spray the frosted glass paint onto the mirror. You'll have to wait a few minutes to see the frosted glass effect. It's like magic!
When the mirror is dry, place it in your frame and hang it in a special place.
* You can also use flower shaped stickers found in most craft stores.
