AngieMany of our site visitors send questions to our expert, Angie, who shares her expertise and creativity with hundreds of site visitors every month. When she's not answering your e-mails, Angie inspires us with both functional and fanciful paint ideas. We couldn't help but ask her to be our guest designer so we could really show off Angie's creativity.

As a designer, Angie has what matters most: an eye for everyday items that can be transformed with a little elbow grease, creativity and paint. It won't be long before some big TV or radio station steals her away to host her own show.

There's no eating bonbons or enjoying fancy business luncheons for this busy lady. Like many of us, Angie is a full-time mom juggling car pools with play dates and soccer practice with grocery shopping. Her ideas come from what she knows best: managing a household with real-life budgets and real-life needs.

Angie's philosophy is simple: take on projects that are affordable and easily achievable. Look for inspiration in magazines and make the projects your own. Hers are real projects for real people and they don't require you to have a background in art.

"Take a look around you and imagine how you can transform everyday items into something extraordinary," Angie says of her inspiration for so many wonderful ideas.

When Angie isn't sharing her wisdom and creativity with us, she's raising two beautiful children with her husband. In life PK (pre-kids), Angie graduated from Brookdale College and became a full-time paralegal for a major law firm in the northeast as well as a Hungarian translator. To top it off, she also found time to renovate and decorate two homes.

While Angie is compensated by Rust-Oleum for her wonderful blog entries, her comments may not always reflect Rust-Oleum's corporate philosophy. She is her own woman and we love her for that.
